The 1st one (1368 MacKinnon) is the picture of my 1368 lb pumpkin that had a split on the stem, it was not eligible for a contest. The other pictures are from my 1305 lb pumpkin. With the 1305 lb pumpkin, I have won the Giant Pumpkin contest in Gentilly (the only official contest in the province of Quebec).  The 1305 lb pumpkin is a record for the province of Quebec (the biggest pumpkin ever produced). With this pumpkin, I participated to the "Pumpkinfest" in Port Elgin (Ontario). It is the  biggest giant vegetables contest in Canada. I won the second prize (the first prize was a 1355 lbs pumpkin). It was the second largest pumpkin grown in Canada this year. I also brought a 10.5 lbs sweet potato. It finished in second place in the category "Other heaviest vegetables". The first position was a 12 lbs beet.

Pierre has grown this pumpkin at 1187 lbs to win the Quebec championship. He also had a second 1000 lb pumpkin on the same roots. La Tuque is up in Northern Quebec, but Pierre prides himself on being able to achieve large size fruits and vegetable even if the climate is not the best. He also has 30lb water melons, 4.5 lb carrots and 13 ft sun flowers.
