My nephew Jake got this spike buck on the last day of the deer season. We were hunting near Nekoosa on my land. I got a doe that morning also.

It is Jakes first deer, he is pretty proud of it.

“6 Indiana Beauties”

These six bucks came over an eight year period. I got them on my land where I live in Metamora, IN. There are 2 more bucks on the wall, but I could not find the picture at this time. In Indiana, you are allowed I buck per year no matter what the weapon. Up until several years ago you could kill 2, one with bow and one with gun.

This is my "eleventh hour buck". He was taken late in the afternoon on the last day of firearms season, after I had almost given up all hope of even seeing a buck this season! Although not exactly a wall hanger sporting only 7 points, being that late in the season and no deer yet, he was a welcome sight.
